DEADMAU5!

The Canadian is bigger this year than ever before. But why the name Deamau5? Well he named himself Deadmau5 because one day he was working one day on some music on his computer. He left his computer on and went to bed, he woke up next morning to find his computer completely broken with smoke coming out of the back, it seems a mouse had somehow got into his computer and got burnt alive: Deadmau5.

Deadmau5 - Ghosts 'n' Stuff

Deadmau5 - Arguru (Piano Re-intro)

Deadmau5 - I Remember

A-Trak

Born 30th March 1982. And by 1995 had his very first turntables and a mixer. 2 years later he was DMC's World DJ Champion at the age of 15. In the late nineties with his brother he set up a record label named 'Audio Research'. Into the new millenium he went on to release the album 'Gangsta Breaks' and then he was hired by Kanye West as his tour DJ and has done most of the backing music including world famous 'Stronger'. He also appeared on Kanye's second album 'Late Registration', afterwards he co-founded the record label 'Fool's Gold' and since has produced two new albums 'Running Man: Nike+ Original Run' in 2008 and 'Infinity +1' in 2009. With his use of fresh electro beats and hip-hop funk he has help re-invent his own version of electro-hop. There is a lot more to come as he has just formed an alliance with Armand Van Helden to create 'DUCK SAUCE'

Röyksopp

Röyksopp is an electronic and chillout music duo based in Bergen, Norway. The duo were schoolmates in their hometown of Tromso, experimenting with electronic instruments in the early 90s. However, the duo did not have the title Röyksopp until years later when they met again in Bergen. The city was a vital scene for underground electronic music at this time, which gave them all the inspiration they need.

Röyksopp - Eple

Röyksopp - Remind Me

Röyksopp - What Else Is There (Thin White Duke Mix)

Top 10 Music Videos

10 of my favourite music videos of all time, couldn't decide an order. All of them are unique in their own different way; D.A.N.C.E. is artwork through t-shirts designed by SoMe, E-talking is going through the alphabet showing the affect of different drugs, Parachute Ending has a wacky Japanese artwork touch to it, Strawberry Swing is artwork being drawn on concrete by chalk and a man saving a woman through the artwork, Audacity Of Huge is images of what the vocalist is singing about, Sponsored By Destiny is an impressive modern interpretation of the fairy tale Little Red Riding Hood (thanks George for showing me it), NY excuse is a sequence of facts and figures showing us how ridiculous modern life is and how we spend our money, Wheres Your Head At is wacky video involving monkeys that have human faces, Move Your Feet is an oldschool cartoon style video about nothing particular, Reptilia is videos collected from our day to day life and just had the tempo changed.

Justice - D.A.N.C.E.

Soulwax - E-talking

Birdy Nam Nam - Parachute Ending

Coldplay - Strawberry Swing

Simian Mobile Disco - Audacity Of Huge

Slagsmalsklubben - Sponsored By Destiny

Basement Jaxx - Wheres Your Head At

Junior Senior - Move Your Feet

The Strokes - Reptilia

Late Of The Pier

Fantasy Black Channel arguably one of the best albums of 2008/09. Which includes lots of great songs that appeal to a wide range of music tastes. Focker with its strange video, title and lyrics turned out to be a great success. Boys Noize remixed it which greatened the amount of followers of the four piece band, and they soon became popular among many electro blogsites.
Late Of The Pier - Focker
Late Of The Pier - Focker (Boys Noize Terror Remix)

More and more songs became famous such as; random firl, space and the woods, the bears are coming and bathroom gurgle, which are all unique in their own different way. Lots of electro bands remixed these songs and soon they were regarded as one of the best indie bands around.
Late Of The Pier - Bathroom Gurgle
Late Of The Pier - The Bears Are Coming (Partyshank Remix)
